Benefits of a Wishlist
Hey Sis!
Happy Monday! I hope you’re well!!!
Today let’s talk about wishlists and how they are a benefit… Especially in regards to buying luxury items.
For me, they help to curve my impulsive tendencies. In the Past, I have made purchases that only made me happy for the moment because I didn’t think it through. Then when it came to buying something I REALLY wanted, I didn’t have the funds to because i blew it on an impulse (this also prolonged me from being able to get the item I really wanted). So I started to create a wishlist of the items I wanted. Typically, these are items that I cannot stop thinking about (so I know I truly love the item) and have really thought about how they would fit into my life.
With a wishlist, you can keep yourself in check because you have a goal that you are trying to accomplish. Keep this goal in your mind when you are getting ready to make purchases in order to slow yourself down. Ask yourself a few questions:
Is this a need or a want?
How will this item REALISTICALLY fit into my lifestyle?
Will I get my cost per wear/use?
How many different ways can I wear/use this?
Is this purchase going to take me off track from what I really want?
So, here are a few item that I have on my wishlist.
1. Jacquemus Le Sac CiuCiu
2. AM:PM Toni Boots
3. Mach and Mach Bow Heels
4. God Save Queens Scarlett Dress
I hope this is a helpful tool as you shop to get items you truly love and will use as opposed to buying things, then getting rid of them because you purchased it on a whim.
Your Tall and Bougie Big Sis,
Solange “The Glamazon”
