Building a Travel Look for Tall Women

Hey Glamazonians!

For travel, I tend to prioritize comfort/function over fashion, but that doesn’t mean you have to give up looking chic all together. So here are some tips for creating a chic travel look.

1. Sets: I LOVE a good set for travel! I tend to travel in the mornings (after pulling a last minute packing all-nighter the night before ), so sets are the easiest items to grab to reduce the amount of brain work and time needed to get ready. I find athleisure sets to be the most comfortable for me. Check out my Tall Girl Brands Guide for places you can get items specifically for tall women.

2. Add a layer: Airports, planes, and trains are ALWAYS cold to me so a layer is needed no matter what. To make the look more chic, I opt for blazers. They add the perfect smart touch to any look. For a comfortable fit, you may want to consider a more oversized blazer.

3. Choose comfortable shoes: Specifically for airports, pick footwear you can easily get on and off. Going through security can be the worst and I want to make the process as painless as possible. So whatever footwear I choose, it’s something I can get into and out of quickly. For a more chic or fashionable touch think trendy or classic footwear, but sometimes I’ll wear some kind of slide (please make sure you bring socks if you wear slides…. Airport floors are gross)

4. Simple jewelry: Again security is the worst so I keep my jewels minimal. A chunky necklace is perfect it’s easy to get on/off if needed but still makes an impact

So give these tips a try and see what looks you can create.

Keep calm and GLAM on 🤗😘,
