As a fellow long legged girl, I know the struggle of buying clothes (specifically pants/jeans) online and having to jump though a bunch of hoops to figure out if something will fit….. only to have it come a not fit at all. So, I’m going to do it so you don’t have to; Welcome to Glam’s Court!
Measurements
It is always beneficial to check your measurements with the companies sizing charts because sizing can differ from brand to brand. I’m typically an 10/11/12, depending on the brand. But, when it comes to buying full length pants or jeans, finding out your inseam measurement is probably the most important. Yes, there is a measurement called your inseams. As a long legged girl, you need to know what it is so you can get the best idea on if the pants will fit or not.
How do I figure out my inseam?
Your inseam is the length measurement of your inner leg. It runs from your crotch all the way down to the bottom of your ankle (or wherever you want to pants to hit you). Note: the average inseam in most stores are 32'“, sometimes you can find a 34”. Check out the diagram above for a visual of where to measure for your inseam (and other measurements)
But what if my inseam is longer than a 34”?
That’s where Glam’s court comes in. I have a 37” inseam so it is difficult for me to find pants that come in my inseam. I’ve noticed that some online companies now have sections that cater to taller women, 5’7” and over, so here I will be putting those different brands to the test. So lets see what brands the court rules in favor of!
